Each time you visit this Site, you are bound by these Terms and Conditions as they exist on the date of your visit. CANCELLATION POLICY – DAILY SHUTTLE
Cancellations for daily shuttle passengers require AT LEAST 12 hours notice. To cancel your ride call (403) 487-1312 or toll free (877) 333-3238 (answered 6am-6pm) or e- mail [email protected]. Note that there is a $5 service fee for all refunds.
Cancellations due to flight delays: If your flight gets cancelled or delayed please to let us know. If your cancellation or change in pickup is due to an airline cancellation or delay we will take this into consideration regarding any refunds or changes if less than 12 hours notice is not possible under these circumstances. _________________________________________________________________________
CANCELLATION POLICY- PRIVATE CHARTER
Cancellations for private charter contracts are subject to the terms outlined in the service agreement. Please consult your service agreement contract for more information.

CANCELLATION POLICY – TOURS
Booking for tours are a final sale. Refunds will not be given for cancellations. Tour bookings can be transferred to another ticket holder – please update any ticket name changes to the office at 1-403-487-1312 or email [email protected].

ROAD AND WEATHER DELAYS
Poor weather and/or road conditions can close the highway a number of times during the year. Prairie Sprinter is not responsible for any extra or unexpected expenses as a result- this is the financial responsibility of the client. Prairie Sprinter will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes beyond its control. The following are examples of circumstances which are not within our control:
- Missed flights due to transportation delays (flight insurance is highly recommended)
- Accidents causing delays to the vehicle.
- Exceptional or severe weather conditions including snow or flood.
- Compliance with requests of the police.
- Deaths and accidents on the road.
- Vandalism and terrorism.
- Unforeseen traffic delays.
- Industrial action by third parties.
- Problems caused by other customers.
- Other circumstances affecting passenger safety.

DAILY SHUTTLE SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All trip prices are for “direct” trips with one pickup and one drop-off point.
Prairie Sprinter reserves the right to limit our pickup and drop off locations in Calgary on a daily basis

TOURS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All ticket purchases for day trips and tours are final sale. No refund will be issued for purchased tickets with the only exception being if Prairie Sprinter must cancel the tour on the date the ticket is purchased for.
Prairie Sprinter reserves the right to place a minimum number of ticket sales on some tours. This will be clearly noted on the booking page. If the minimum is not met Prairie Sprinter may cancel the tour with 48 hours notice. In this event you will be contacted. Refunds will be issued immediately to all paid ticket holders.
If your tour includes food it is your responsibility to inform Prairie Sprinter prior to the tour date if you have a dietary restriction or allergy. Your request may not be able to be accommodated on the tour date if advance notice is not given.

PRIVATE CHARTER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prairie Sprinter is licensed for transportation service anywhere in Alberta, and is limited to transportation within Alberta’s provincial borders.
Prairie Sprinter reserves the right to charge a premium fee to service provided on statutory holidays and service after midnight.

LUGGAGE
Daily Shuttle passengers are permitted a maximum of 2 articles of luggage (to be placed in the cargo area) and one carry on bag. If passengers need to travel with more luggage please call the office 1-403-487-1312 to make accommodations.
Passengers are responsible for verifying that their luggage is loaded / unloaded by the bus driver. Prairie Sprinter Shuttle Service assumes no liability for lost or damaged luggage

SMOKING/ VAPING
Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted inside any Prairie Sprinter vehicle at any time.

ALCOHOL/ DRUGS
Alcohol and drugs are not permitted on board any Prairie Sprinter vehicle. Non-compliance will result in the removal of the passenger and potential suspension of service. FARE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
Any passengers who are deemed intoxicated or impaired will not be permitted to board. FARE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

LOYALTY CARD
Prairie Sprinter offers a loyalty card program- Ride five times and get the sixth ride half price. Loyalty cards can be requested from your shuttle driver. Each one-way trip entitles the card holder to one punch on their loyalty card. Punches are given on daily shuttle trips ONLY for passengers who pay for full fare rides. Loyalty cards can be redeemed for one half price ride when all five punches have been filled.
Upon redeeming your half priced ride the card holder must provide the card to the driver.
Punches are not given on tours or private charters. Half price rides may be used on the daily shuttle only- half price rides may not be used for tours or private charters.
Children 10 years and under receive a $10 discount. They do not get a loyalty card as they are already receiving a discounted price.
Prairie Sprinter is NOT responsible for any lost or stolen loyalty cards, nor is Prairie Sprinter responsible to track punches for card holders.

UNACCOMPANIED CHILD PASSENGERS
We understand that on occasion children need to travel without an adult accompanying them. Children must be at least five years old to be permitted to travel without an adult on our shuttles. When making a booking for an unaccompanied child an adult must designated to meet the child at the requested drop off location. This designated person MUST present photo identification to the driver for the child to be permitted to exit the vehicle. Receiving parties must be at the pick-up point 15 minutes prior to Scheduled Arrival Time.

ANIMAL TRAVEL POLICY
From time to time our passengers have the need to travel with their pets on our shuttles. We will do our best to accommodate these requests while adhering to the following:
- Small animals may be permitted to travel with a passenger on the daily shuttle service.
- Animals are NOT permitted to accompany a passenger on any day or multi-day tours.
- If you intend to have an animal accompany you on your trip you MUST inform the booking team at the time of booking your trip.
- In the event that a passenger has already booked for the same journey and has notified us they suffer from an animal allergy your animal travel request will be refused. More details about your animal’s breed etc may be requested to determine if travel may be possible.
- Any animal traveling with Prairie Sprinter is required to travel in a kennel. The animal and kennel must be small enough to fit under the seat of the passenger accompanying the animal.
- Kennels are NOT permitted to rest on any of the seats inside the vehicle at any time.
- Animals MUST remain kennelled for the entire journey. At no time will any passenger remove their animal from the kennel inside the Prairie Sprinter vehicle.
- The animal is the full responsibility of the passenger it is traveling with. In the event the animal soils themselves inside the vehicle the passenger will be solely responsible for cleaning the mess.
- If the animal soils any area of the Prairie Sprinter vehicle the accompanying passenger will be charged $100 cleanup fee.
- Accompanying passengers are expected to be courteous to the other passengers traveling with Prairie Sprinter. Please keep your animal calm and content throughout the journey.
- Prairie Sprinter reserves the right to refuse animal travel to any passenger at any time.
As the accompanying passenger, you agree to these terms and conditions when traveling with an animal on a Prairie Sprinter vehicle. You will be required to sign your understanding upon boarding the vehicle on your day of travel.
